Stay on Target…

Time between projects has turned out to be a good thing as my portfolio site is (finally) nearing a state of completion. It’s certainly been a long time coming. Having an online portfolio has (i think) made me generally more confident as there’s some work to go alongside my words so my skills are out in the open (as good or bad as they are).

Whilst I’m here I should mention that Between The Lines premiered 2 weeks back and was a storming success resulting in Ashley Wing (The Director) to be offered funding for another project. I believe his plans are to execute some short films first and then head in for another feature. It looks like I’ll be onboard for the project.

Also, NightCast premiered 3 days ago on Saturday with over 400 people attending the showing. It’s great to hear that projects I’ve been involved in have been successful - as the directors either were already or have become good friends.

Back here on my end things are also looking up. After a visit to the very lovely Lime studios I’ve been feeling positive. Maybe more information on that in the future. Pre-Production has also started moving for two short films so there’s a possibility of an effects test type section on the site where I can show my video scrapbook so to speak.

I plan on erecting my blog at some point soon too. After the translation from wordpress > html problems are fixed.

Until then…
